The Integrated Resource Plan is a comprehensive study of alternative strategies for meeting the future electrical energy needs of the Tennessee Valley. The purpose of this study is to develop a plan that TVA can enact to help achieve environmental sustainability and meet the electricity needs of the Tennessee Valley over the next 20 years. At the end of the study, TVA will use its findings to set a course that best meets the goals of its Strategic Plan and Environmental Policy and the goals of Tennessee Valley residents.
