Former Battelle Memorial Institute executive brings 20-plus years of business development and customer relationship management experience to ORAU
Wanda Gamble, former vice president of business development for health and analytics at Battelle Memorial Institute, has been named vice president of business development for ORAU.
In her new role, Gamble will oversee strategic opportunities for gaining new business, formulate competitive strategies for growth and maintain/develop networks and partnerships for ORAU. She will maintain and further develop strategic relationships with federal agencies, state and local government entities, government contractors and private industry.
“We are thrilled to have Wanda join our team in this leadership role,” said ORAU President and CEO Andy Page. “Her extensive business development and customer relationship management experience, especially in the federal arena, will enhance our relationships with both our customers and our community partners. Plus, Wanda’s extensive experience and network of contacts will help her identify new business opportunities for ORAU.”
Prior to joining ORAU, Gamble served as vice president at Battelle Memorial Institute for eight years. For numerous years before that, Gamble served in leadership positions in business development for several organizations, including Vangent, Inc., SRA International, SAIC, Booz Allen & Hamilton and Silicon Graphics.
Gamble holds a bachelor of science degree in government from Auburn University and a master of science degree in telecommunications and business management from Golden Gate University.
