NNSA has issued the final Request for Proposal (RFP) for the management and operation of the Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12) and Pantex Plant (Pantex) under a consolidated contract. You may recall on July 31, 2020, NNSA issued a public notice alerting potential offerors that a full and open competition was forthcoming and on August 24, 2020, NNSA issued draft RFP documents to obtain industry feedback. In late September, NNSA held site visits and conducted virtual one-on-one sessions with potential offerors to help them gain a better understanding of the sites and to obtain additional feedback on the draft RFP documents.
The final RFP is posted on Government-wide Points of Entry – beta.SAM.gov (https://beta.sam.gov/), FedConnect (https://www.fedconnect.net/Fedconnect/), and NNSA’s Y-12/Pantex competition website (https://energy.gov/nnsa/y-12-national-security-complex-and-pantex-plant-management-and-operating-mo-contract).
