NASA Johnson Space Center recognizes Navarro Research and Engineering for innovative strategies development and implementation at the White Sands Test Facility.

Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. has been named NASA Johnson Space Center’s Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year for innovative processes and contract leadership at the White Sands Test Facility (WSTF) in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

As the Environmental Compliance and Operations (ECO) contractor, Navarro provides site-wide environmental restoration, remedial system operations and environmental monitoring, compliance and reporting. Navarro received the Small-Business Prime Contractor of the Year award for implementing innovative strategies that optimize the Pump & Treat systems and accelerate groundwater remediation through increased mass capture.

These two innovations are low risk solutions that substantially improve the overall performance of the groundwater treatment systems and help accelerate groundwater contaminant removal mass and therefore accelerate completion of groundwater remediation. These innovations were determined by our client to be very effective and to provide “Significant Value Added” to acceleration of groundwater treatment.
