Materials and Chemistry Laboratory, Inc. (MCLinc) is pleased to announce six new staff members.

David Smith is facilities manager.  David is currently attending Tennessee College of Applied Technology and is working on a degree in Industrial Maintenance and PLC Programming.  David has 20 years of experience as an HVAC Technician and Manufacturing Operator.

Andrew Giminaro, PhD, is a senior chemist and project manager.  Andy is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee Institute for Nuclear Security, at the Howard Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy.  Andy has research experience in advanced radiological detection techniques, nuclear security, nuclear forensics, advanced radiochemical separations and other areas of interest.

Monique Piercy is the corporate controller.  Monique previously worked for Bechtel Jacobs as a Project Controls Engineer in the Engineering and Technology Development groups and as a Finance Officer and accountant for Lockheed Martin in the Controllers’ Division and Analytical Services Organization.

Kelly Steelman is a sample receipt coordinator and asbestos laboratory analyst.  Kelly has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with concentration in biochemistry from East Tennessee State University.

Chanley Morgan is sample receipt and reporting coordinator.  Chanley has 20+ years of experience working in the environmental industry and laboratory testing facilities.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology.

Tara Taylor is a chemist.  Tara is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.  Tara was an undergraduate research assistant and student assistant in the Chemistry Department during her time at UTK.
