Roane_State_Logo_HR_SmallU.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis visited Roane State Community College’s Oak Ridge campus today, talking with students, visiting classrooms — and announcing a nearly $12.6 million grant to provide more healthcare training throughout the state.

Roane State is the lead college, the fiscal agent, for the $12.57 million federal grant, that includes all 13 state community colleges, all 27 technology centers in Tennessee, and many healthcare providers throughout the state. The name of the program: Rx-Tennessee.
