Bonnie Carroll will assume the roles of Chairman of the Board and Chief Knowledge Officer based at IIa Headquarters in Oak Ridge.
Information International Associates, Inc. (IIa) is pleased to announce the hiring of David N. Joslin as its new President and CEO, marking the company’s strong commitment to corporate growth.
Before starting his own information technology (IT) consulting company in 2010, Joslin Consulting LLC, Joslin had a 22 year career with Perot Systems Corporation. Prior to its acquisition by Dell in November 2009, Perot Systems, founded by H. Ross Perot in 1988, was a $3.0B multi-national, publically-traded IT services and business solutions company. Serving as Executive Vice President, Joslin was responsible for business unit leadership and oversight of multiple client engagements encompassing the delivery of IT infrastructure solutions, application development programs, business process management, cybersecurity, and IT planning and policy engagements within the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and the U.S. Intelligence community. He also held similar roles within the federal civilian area of Perot Systems, as well as a series of senior operations and business development positions, within both the federal government and commercial markets. Earlier in his professional career, Joslin worked with the U.S. Department of Defense, where he gained a strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Acquisition Regulations.
In 2011, IIa committed to enabling corporate growth and strengthening the company’s position in Federal Government markets as a top provider of high-quality, trusted IT services. Several major corporate actions solidified this commitment, including the formation of an Advisory Board for expert counsel on corporate operations and a strategic corporate acquisition to significantly enhance the company’s IT capabilities. The culmination of these efforts is the introduction of a new President and CEO to be based in Washington D.C. and intensely focused on business development and corporate growth. Bonnie C. Carroll, owner and Chairman of the Board said,
“The decision to hire a CEO is aligned with IIa’s strategy for growth. In preparing IIa to take the next step, an executive with a strong track record in business growth is an exciting step for us. After a three-month search, we secured the top candidate. Mr. Joslin’s extensive experience in developing and managing business in government and commercial markets will be a solid addition to lead IIa’s management team. He assumes the role CEO of IIa effective March 1, 2012.”
Carroll will assume the roles of Chairman of the Board and Chief Knowledge Officer based at IIa Headquarters in Oak Ridge. This stage in Carroll’s career will include more strategic thinking, writing, and doing more technical work, the inspiration for founding the company. Carroll will also support the CEO to increase business value and make the transition successful. Kelly Callison, IIa’s Chief Operating Officer, will continue to manage corporate headquarters operations in Oak Ridge.
Joslin’s immediate plans include a trip to corporate headquarters in Oak Ridge, TN the week of March 5th to meet the members of the Headquarters staff and better understand current operations. Thereafter, he will find the opportunities to meet the rest of the IIa Team that is scattered across the US and in the UK.
IIa provides solutions in information technology, knowledge management, and data exploitation to support information and mission requirements for customers in Federal Government and commercial markets.
