The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority voted to fund a feasibility study for a proposed general aviation airport in Oak Ridge.

Airplane-IconThe Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority voted to accept a $142,722 grant to help fund a feasibility study now under way to find a site for a proposed general aviation airport in Oak Ridge.

The Airport Authority is proposing to develop a general aviation airport in Oak Ridge and in June approved up to $295,860 for LPA Group to do a feasibility study for a physical site analysis and other work, including studies for three possible sites for the airport.
