The East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC) provides the opportunity to collaborate with great organizations and companies for the benefit of all. ETEC works in strong partnership with federal contractors, Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration representatives, state officials, small businesses, educational institutions, and other local economic development entities to seek new ways to use federal investments in science and security to create prosperity, promote regional development, and explore opportunities for growth.
Annual investments support weekly membership programs, host visits by national leaders and congressional delegations, and facilitate other activities designed to showcase the emerging opportunities within the East Tennessee economy. Business memberships are based on the total number of corporate employees in all offices. There is no limit on the number of guests that members can invite to ETEC membership meetings.
