Latest WalletHub Analysis Places Tennessee at #15 of Best States for Business Starts

Tennessee ranked #15 in WalletHub’s latest analysis of best states in which to start a business.

According to the report, the Volunteer State placed #7 in terms of business environment which was weighted at 50 percent of the total points awarded. The other two categories each accounted for 25 percent of the total, and Tennessee placed #16 in terms of business costs, but #39 in access to resources. The latter category includes accessibility to financing, venture investment per capita, human capital availability, higher education assets, and growth in the working age population.

How did the rest of the region rank? Georgia came in at #2, Florida #4, North Carolina #9, and Mississippi #14.
