The Nuclear Working Group is made up of ETEC members who work in the nuclear industry and are interested in promoting East Tennessee as a great place to do business.
The group, formed in 2007, hosts an annual nuclear fission industry forum for manufacturing and supply-oriented companies to meet each year in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
In 2021 the group decided to also include fusion energy as part of its focus. ETEC partnered with the Fusion Industry Association (FIA) to host its first virtual forum on Fusion Innovation. Close to 100 Attendees from seven countries gathered to discuss the future of fusion energy.
