Sean P. Williams
CEO and President
President of Protections Strategies Incorporated (PSI)
Mr. Williams is CEO and President of Protections Strategies Incorporated (PSI), i Knoxville, TN. PSI is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides high level security services to the US Government, State and local governments and commercial clients in the US and abroad. PSI is currently contracted to provide security management, consulting and related services to the FBI, HHS, DOD, DOJ, FERC, DOE and NNSA.
Mr. Williams has 34 years of diverse business and executive leadership experience including successfully leading small, medium and large U.S. based companies. He has demonstrated a successful career, establishing public-private partnerships with federal and local government entities to solve complex security challenges and ensure the protection of critical infrastructure and assets at home, as wells as abroad. After serving as a United States Air Force Pararescueman (PJ) and Joint Special Operations Task Force Member in counter terrorism operations (NATO/US), he began working with one of the nation’s largest security contractors supporting the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Safeguards and Security mission and played a key role in leading contract operations for the Department of States Antiterrorism Assistance Program (DOS/ATAP), to fight terrorism abroad in the days following 9/11. Building on his work with DOE and DOS he has successfully provided critical security and support services to a broad base of other U.S. agencies including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Services (FPS), National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA), Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Defense (DOD), United States Marshals Service (USMS), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and various state/ local governments.
Mr. Williams holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), with a concentration in Finance from the Anderson School of Business, a CPT certification from the International Society of Performance Testing and a broad range of certifications from both the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy. He is also a member of the Tennessee Valley Corridor (TVC) Leadership council and Congressman Tim Burchett’s (TN 3rd District) appointed representative to the TVC Board of Directors.
