MPNHP: Jackson Square In-Person History Program

March 19 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join a park ranger for a walk through Jackson Square.

Manhattan Project National Historical Park will present a free program at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, in Jackson Square in Oak Ridge. The program will begin in the upper parking lot of Jackson Square in front of the fountains.

“During the program, we will discuss how routine, tradition, and the comforts of home helped keep Oak Ridge residents focused on the mission rather than their hardships. We will walk to the Alexander Inn Guest House and the Chapel on the Hill during the program,” a news release from the park stated.

Jackson Square is located three blocks north of the Oak Ridge Turnpike. If you have questions about the program or need directions, visit the Visitor Center Desk within the Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge at 461 West Outer Drive or call (865) 485-1942.
