Knoxville Data Science Meetup: Leading with a Data Science MindsetRegister and More Info

IAMM Building at the UT Research Park at Cherokee Farm

2641 Osprey Vista Way

Knoxville, TN 37920

Join Knoxville’s data science professionals for a presentation & discussion on how to create or improve your data science strategy

Make new connections with data science professionals at Knoxville-area companies while discussing methods to create or improve the data science & AI strategy within your organization.

As AI and Data Science initiatives increasingly become a key component of business value, Data Science teams and leaders will benefit from knowing how to measure the impact of existing projects and identify new areas where data science initiatives can be applied.

Lindsey Clark, Director of Data Science at Healthcare Bluebook, will be sharing from her experience leading data science teams, including:

• Challenges and solutions to building a successful data science/AI program

• Methods to identify data science applications for your business

• Change management to a data-focused organization

• How to measure data science/AI impact and ROI

• Resources for how to build data products

In order to promote lively conversation and idea sharing, this will be an in-person event for data scientists and technology leaders, with appetizers and drinks provided.

After the presentation, Q&A will be facilitated with open discussion and networking to follow.

When you arrive at the UT Research Park, follow the signs for the JIAM Building (they recently changed the name to IAMM Building, but the signs still use the old acronym). You can park anywhere in the lot in front of the building.

Once you’re inside, use the elevators in the lobby to go to the third floor. Turn to the right as you exit the elevator and you will see Conference Room 300.

Masks are not required, but we encourage attendees to follow social distancing and mask wearing according to their vaccination status and personal comfort level.
