FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF ATLANTA PRESIDENT AND CEO DR. RAPHAEL BOSTIC
The Forum is pleased to welcome Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President and CEO Raphael Bostic to the podium for our spring 2018 meeting. Dr. Bostic took office in June 2017, and is responsible for monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and payment services at the Atlanta Fed. He also serves on the Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC). Prior to joining the bank, Dr. Bostic was the Judith and John Bedrosian Chair in Governance and the Public Enterprise at the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Bostic earned his PhD in economics from Stanford University in 1995 and was employed as a research economist by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors until 2001 before arriving at USC. From 2009 to 2012, Bostic was the assistant secretary for policy development and research at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
