House Nuclear Cleanup Caucus Event – September 14, 2016
“R&D to Advance Safety in DOE’s Environmental Management Complex”
You, or a representative of your company, are invited to attend a Nuclear Cleanup Caucus panel discussion and reception sponsored by the Energy Facility Contractors Group, (EFCOG), the Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association, (ETEBA), and the Nuclear Energy Institute.
Our special guests will be Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, Caucus Chairman, Rep. Ben Lujan, Co-Chairman and members of the Nuclear Cleanup Caucus of the U. S. House of Representatives. This event will be held in Room B340 of the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, DC, 5:00-6:30 p.m.
This discussion will focus on current R&D that significantly improves safety for nuclear clean-up activities, including the “Science of Safety” initiative as well as other R&D efforts within DOE and the commercial nuclear sector.
The panel will include Monica Regalbuto, Assistant Secretary, Office of Environmental Management, the Department of Energy (confirmed).The other confirmed speakers will be announced shortly.
