Topic: DOE’s National Historic Preservation project.
Gregor R. Smee has over 25 years of professional experience in architecture. He has held licenses in 40 states across the United States. Born, raised and educated in California, he has lived in East Tennessee since 1993 with his wife and daughters. Gregor’s expertise includes commercial, educational, religious and housing project experience. In 2004 he established Smee Architecture Inc. on historic Market Square in downtown Knoxville. The following year Scott Busby joined as a partner and the name was changed to Smee+Busby Architects, P.C. Gregor received his Bachelors of Architecture from California Polytechnic State Univ. in 1987.
Gregor is involved in the community serving or has previously serving in various capacities with many local and state-wide organizations including: Board of Appeals & Adjustments, City of Knoxville; Fellowship Church; The WordPlayers Theatre Company; Market Square District Association; Lindsay Young YMCA; AIA East Tennessee; UT AIAS; and, AIA Tennessee.
