General Fusion Establishes U.S. Headquarters in Oak Ridge, Tennessee
General Fusion announced its new U.S. base of operations in Oak Ridge, as the company advances plans for a first-of-a-kind commercial pilot plant. This will create up to 50 highly technical jobs to advance the company’s commercialization of fusion energy. The location will also provide a robust ecosystem of suppliers and services.

Oak Ridge Upgrades Waste Shipment Tracking System
OREM contractor UCOR recently transitioned to a new waste tracking system that improves how shipments are tracked from work sites to disposal locations. The new system includes an upgraded radio frequency identification tracking system for trucks and new hardware and software.
