‘One of a Kind’ Training Facility Coming to Oak Ridge

Gov. Bill Lee was among the many on hand at the Y-12 History Center for a groundbreaking for the new technology & training center. A subsidiary of the UT Research Foundation, the Clinical Trials Network of Tennessee facilitates industry-sponsored clinical trials conducted by UT Health Science Center clinical research faculty across the state. In three years, the organization has experienced significant growth.

Area Nonprofits Receive $150,000 in Grants from UT-Battelle

Twenty-five nonprofit entities have been awarded grants totaling $150,000 from UT-Battelle to support community-focused programs in East Tennessee. “The success of our community is a vital part of the lab’s mission,” said Alan Icenhour, deputy laboratory director for operations at ORNL.
