In the most recent update of the Tennessee Advanced Energy Economic Impact Report by the TAEBC, data and analysis show robust growth in this sector of the economy as well as demonstrating the vital role Tennessee plays in this $1.4 trillion global market. The report finds advanced energy accounts for nearly 394,000 jobs and contributes $46 billion to the state GDP.

Association Honors EM Contractor for Achievements in Safety, Health

The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, which helps worksites advance safety and health goals, honored a contractor in Oak Ridge. UCOR established an in-house training program for radiological control technicians, which resulted in 160 radiological control technicians with the technical depth of knowledge to rotate between diverse cleanup projects at all three local cleanup sites.
