Kathy McCarthy, associate laboratory director for Fusion and Fission Energy and Science at DOE's ORNL, has been elected fellow of the American Nuclear Society for her nationally and internationally recognized leadership in nuclear energy and fusion.

Norwood Middle School won the sixth annual Dream it. Do it. competition sponsored by the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce and Consolidated Nuclear Security. CNS provided $1,000 to the sponsoring teacher for classroom resources.

EM Training Program Boosts Workforce Readiness
EM Oak Ridge cleanup contractor UCOR is ensuring employees are trained to advance cleanup. Most recently, the contractor administered training to workers who will provide radiation protection support to numerous projects in the field.
