Oak Ridge Team Wins Government Team Project of the Year
DOE’s Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management and its environmental cleanup contractor UCOR were honored with the Government Team Project of the Year Award. The recognition was part of the national 2020 Washington Exec Pinnacle Awards.

TVA has released its Fiscal Year 2020 Annual Report. This report highlights TVA’s unique mission of service and the strength and value of the Valley public power model. It also shows the strategy, values, and people that drive TVA’s strong operational and financial performance.

OREM Launches Demolition Project at Former Biology Complex
EM crews began taking down the remaining facilities located in the former Biology Complex at the Y-12 National Security Complex. Those vacant, deteriorated buildings are categorized as high risk due to their structural condition, and their removal will provide land for national security missions at the site.

Manhattan Project National Historical Park Celebrates 5th Anniversary
It is time to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park! The official signing ceremony with Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell and Secretary of Energy Ernie Moniz that established the new Park was held on November 10, 2015 in Washington, DC.

Knoxville Entrepreneur Center has launched the new “Made for Knoxville” campaign to elevate awareness of Knoxville’s diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem, and inspire action. The goal is to connect and empower the diverse entrepreneurial community in the Knoxville region.
