Connecting Emerging & Established Professionals!
In 2018, ETEC began a late afternoon/early evening event series designed to foster an environment of mentoring and relationship-building between early career professionals and those who are more established. All ETEC members are invited to attend and are asked to encourage emerging leaders in your organizations and networks to attend. Guests are always welcome!
These in-person events are sponsored by an ETEC member company and include a program and Q&A with accomplished professionals, networking, snacks, and drinks. There is no charge to attend, but registrations are required.

After Work at American Museum of Science & Energy with the Young Professionals of Knoxville

ETEC partnered with the Young Professionals of Knoxville (YPK) group for this After Work with ETEC event hosted by the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE). The collaboration with YPK created an even broader platform for professional growth and connection. This partnership underscores the value of both organizations and the collective strength they bring to the region’s vibrant professional community. Just over 100 emerging and established professionals came to network and hear from local entrepreneur, Brandon Bruce and AMSE's Director of Marketing and Communications, Matt Mullins. Brandon told everyone about business opportunities in the area and shared his insights on how to take advantage of innovation opportunities. Close to 100 people joined us at CNS Y-12's Oak Ridge Enhanced Technology & Training Center for an evening of mocktails, food, and special tours. During the event we heard from Ashley Stowe, the Director who gave us an update on the training facility's current projects and future plans. We also had the opportunity to learn hands-on about the augmented and virtual reality training this world-class cutting-edge facility does locally and across the globe. Over 75 people joined us for this free event which featured networking, drinks, and a conversation with an accomplished professional.
