ETEC 2022 Award Nominations

ETEC is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Muddy Boot Award and Postma Young Professional Medal. Click here to learn more about the awards and here to learn about the nomination process. Nominations will be taken until September 23, 2022. The Awards will be presented at the ETEC Annual Meeting on December 15, 2022.

Introducing ETEC's New Staff

We are pleased to introduce you to the new members of the ETEC team, Jennifer Johnsey and Melodie McDonald. Melodie joined our staff in March and Jennifer in late July. If you have been attending our Friday morning meetings recently you may have already met them, if not, seek them out to say hello. To learn more about the ETEC Staff, click here.

Jennifer comes to ETEC from a lengthy career in radio Broadcasting, marketing, promotions, and event management. She is an advocate for preserving history for future generations.

Melodie's part-time work at ETEC includes, but is not limited to bookkeeping, human resource management, customer service, and facilities management. She is dedicated to serving others in our community.

ETEC is pleased to welcome the East Tennessee Development District (ETDD) as a new member.
ETDD is a federal and state statute-created agency to serve municipal and county governments that are located in the mid-east region of Tennessee. ETDD provides sixteen counties and fifty-six municipalities with planning and development services while also serving as a forum for local governments to solve common problems associated with economic development and growth. Organized in 1966, the East Tennessee Development District continues to be a vital force in helping local governments plan for the future by coordinating the establishment of regional and local priorities within the fields of economic and community development.
