Crews Deactivating 23 Buildings in New Cleanup Chapter

EM workers are in various stages of deactivation and demolition preparation inside 23 facilities at ORNL and Y-12. These include former research reactors, uranium processing facilities, isotope & fission development labs, and support buildings. ORNL and Y-12 house hundreds of excess, contaminated facilities that make up the largest inventory of high-risk buildings in the DOE complex.

Ford Motor Company and SK Innovation to Build $5.6B Electric Vehicle Campus

TN Gov. Bill Lee announced Ford Motor Company selected the Memphis Regional Megasite for one of the largest battery and vehicle manufacturing campuses in the U.S. Ford and SK Innovation will build a 3,600-acre campus called Blue Oval City on the site, resulting in 5,800 new jobs.
