Y-12’s Zero Power Physics Reactor Depleted Uranium Recovery Project

Earlier this year, the NNSA Office of Nuclear Material Integration, in cooperation with Y-12, completed the Zero Power Physics Reactor Depleted Uranium Recovery Project. The effort successfully recovered 28 metric tons of high-purity DU blocks previously used in the ZPPR.

ORAU Selected for NIH Path to Excellence Initiative

ORAU was selected to participate in the National Institutes of Health 2021 Path to Excellence and Innovation Initiative 2.0 cohort. The new NIH PEI 2.0 cohort is designed to assist in strengthening contracting opportunities for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, while improving collaborations with small businesses.
