Six ORNL Scientists Receive Distinguished Inventor Honor

Six scientists at the DOE' ORNL were named Battelle Distinguished Inventors, in recognition of obtaining 14 or more patents during their careers at the lab. Since UT-Battelle began managing ORNL in 2000, 77 ORNL researchers have reached this milestone.

BWXT to Lead $106.6 Million Microreactor Design Project

BWX Technologies, Inc. announced it has been selected by the DOE to lead a $106.6 million microreactor development project. DOE is contributing $85.3 million to the cost-share project over seven years, with BWXT funding the remaining amount.
